My team has a trip planned for November 5 - 16 to do purifier installations near Nalerigu, Northern Region, Ghana, West Africa. I would be interested in working with SWIM and/or leading teams into Ghana and other countries where safe water is a major health issue.
The web site listed above is being used as a tool to promote participation and to educate people of this drastic need, starting in Ghana.
What I at first saw as a single mission (to install a single system at Nalerigu) has become a Co-mission of taking the “Living Water” to the world.
I am signing up as a paying memeber because I believe in what you/we are doing, and the major opportunity this gives us to tell the world about Jesus, but, I would like to also become an active member in going, leading, learning, educating, and any other possible way to further this mission.
If you have your passport it is not too late yet to join us leaving from Cincinnati airport, really in Northern KY, at 10:30 AM Monday, Nov. 5. The plane tickets from the Cincy port(CVG)to Accra(ACC), Ghana, are over $300.00 less than from Louisville or Lexington and it is only about an hour drive from Frankfort and Louisville.
At present, we have three going from Frankfort. We will be at the Oct. 19 - 21 Edge Outreach Conference and hope to meet some SWIM members there.
