Water Projects

Mini-Water Treatment Plants

Working in 2 communities in the Puntarenas area of Costa Rica, a team will build and install a mini-water treatment in each. At the same time community members will be taught basic health education and understand ways best to have water distributed for their situation. In these rural areas access to pure water is difficult and expensive. Families and children suffer as a result. Simply gathering food is difficult when a parent is sick. Working to develop long term relationships to encourage community leaders and helping families build a network of support makes situations like these stronger and the impact of pure water longer lasting.
